I'm just gonna name some girls I like from various things.

In the world of video games, I'm gonna say Tali'Zorah nar Rayya from the Mass Effect Series. Aside from the fact that she's a cute alien chick, I really dig her personality and enjoyed having her around.

As for childhood cartoons, I'm gonna be a rebel and go with Starfire instead of Raven. I just always liked Starfire more. She was adorable, kinda ditsy, and she spoke funny. Plus, she's an alien... and alien chicks are cool.

If I think of anyone for anime, I'll let ya'll know. Actually, I've always had thing for Yoruichi Shihōin from Bleach. I'm not even a big fan of Bleach, I just really liked that character. And no, it's not just the cat girl thing about her that I like, I just genuinely find her attractive, interesting, and badass.

As far as video games, no one will ever be more bae than Morrigan from Dragon Age: Origins. Its kind of weird to actually care about the well being of a video game character XD but the romance plot for Morrigan made me really care about her in a way. It helps that I find her personality and attitude completely endearing. And that she has an incredibly sexy voice.

Childhood cartoons? I'm going to be even more rebel and say Jinx from Teen Titans. First of all, her power was completely epic. Then she's actually depicted as a person with emotions and everything despite being a badguy XD Plus, didn't she become a good guy just because she started dating a Titan East? She was just pretty great over all. I loved her since TT first came out.

As for animu, I'm pretty sure everyone here knows I'm like, all for Revy from Black Lagoon. Violent, overbearing girl with a scratch voice? Yes please. Significant runners up include Anko Mitarashi from Naruto, who by all rights should have been a more important fucking character. And Rize from Tokyo Ghoul for being an insane psychopathic slice of sexy.

Also, you're completely right about Anko. She really should have gotten more screen time. I have no idea why she was such an underrated character.

Let me just go off about Anko for a sec. I don't care that I'm off topic.

Here we have a strong, independent female character, something that this anime severely lacked. She had the perfect back story (messed up by Orochimaru, had a curse mark, awesome snake powers) for her to be a perfect mentor to Sasuke. Or hell, to help people track/kill Orochi, which she had excellent motivation to do.

Goddamnit they made one of their best characters, and then never used her. It makes me so angry that they would waste such a perfect character.

Plus, she even has parallels with Naruto, being a big eater and still being kind of a derpy, happy person even though her life has been shit.
