Lately I play either competetive games or really story driven games like VN's almost exclusivly. I really enjoy Dota 2, Street Fighter and CSGO. But I also love games like Danganronpa, Steins;Gate and Persona. It's kind of a weird mix, honestly.

I've seen the anime of Steins;Gate and loved it. I want to play the game, too. I like visual novels like that.

Oh the Steins;Gate VN is so much better. I really liked the anime when I first watched it, but after playing the game I realized how much better the story is in the game, although that's to be expected.
What I didn't realize though was how bad the anime looks in comparison to the the VN.

Yeah, yeah. I noticed that the artistic styles are very different between the two. Ugh. Now I really want to play it. Oh man, I'm gonna see if I can find it now and download it.

I just bought it for my Vita. I realize that most people don't own a Vita though. But I really don't think the console is as bad as people say it is. I've spent hundreds of hours on my Vita. Oh, and the Steins;Gate sequel is comming too, so that's something to look out for.

My friend's girlfriend recently let me borrow her Vita to play Persona 4 Golden, my first Persona game. Literally one of the best games I've ever played. The Vita has Danganropa or whatever on it too >.> But I have nooooo idea what that is.

Its super depressing that the PS Vita was released as the single most impressive piece of handheld technology ever released, and its been reduced to being a handheld ps3 ._.

Persona 4 Golden is really good, but I wish I could have told you to play Persona 3 first. Because I think it might be a bit hard to go from Persona 4 to Persona 3. But you also need a PS3 or PS2 for Persona 3.

Danganronpa is really really good. I love that series. Danganronapa 1&2 are great, while Danganronpa Ultra Despair Girls is... Different, not bad though.

I kind of agree, but a handheld PS3 is pretty appealing to me, honestly, so that's fine by me.

Has anyone played Life is Strange?

Can anyone tell me anything about it whatsoever?

I've also been considering playing Shovel Knight recently. Originally, I didn't care about it because all of the hype, but it kind of puts me in mind of a sidescrollery Dark Souls.

Also been considering playing Resident Evil 3. But Nemesis is a motherfucker.

Life is Strange wasn't that great in my opinion. I didn't play much of it though. It's really not my kind of game.

Shovel Knight is great though, it's plays really well, it's not too easy and I love the style.

I liked Life is Strange. Or, as much of it as I've played. It certainly isn't for everyone though. It does pick up a lot after Episode two.

What did you want to know about it Fish?

I play some things, but I'm not an avid gamer or anything. LiS is definitely similar to some TellTale stuff, but it's also somewhat different. Basically, you're a teenage girl who can rewind time. Which you only really use to do some short puzzles and back out if you picked the bad branch of the dialogue tree. There's some fucky stuff going on in the town, and you totally friend zoned this one kid. This one chick is missing, and your childhood friend turned into a kickass punk.

Your options do affect the game, but the basic story is the same no matter what. A few people might die, but they aren't that important to the plot, just your emotions. It's more about character development than anything, although it does get quite intense. Gameplay is simple, linear story with some minor exploration and puzzles. It's mostly about the dialogue, which can get cringy at times, but they're teenagers, so I can forgive that.

Telltale came out with a Minecraft game. It looks dumb, but I'm willing to bet the story is great. I need to convince Nex to get it so I can play it.

Why can't I get into Street Fighter?

I like Mortal Kombat, and Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Persona Arena, any fighting game that focuses on meter and supers.

I despise Marvel vs Capcom, and Tekken. Theyre super fun and all, but I suck at memorizing long complicated combos just to function competently.

I really don't like MvC and Tekken, or most fighting games where you constantly juggle an opponent, also 3D fighting games. I just don't like them. I do like games like Guilty Gear and Melty Blood too, but Street Fighter will always be my favorite.

I would have told you to sign up for the beta and I would play you until you get into it. But that would require you to pre-order it, since you don't play on a European PS4.

Rollercoaster Tycoon World. If I remember correctly it has had a shit ton of development issues and has changed hands like four times.
