I was thinking Pathfinder RPG, which is basically DnD 3.75.

I know a little bit about DnD3.5 itself, but i refuse to use 4th edition, and i know absolutely nothing about 5th edition.

I also remember Finale once saying he'd like to try Call of Cthulhu and I believe... something called Paranoia?

Welp, since i'm complete ass at improvising afaik, I'll limit the first of my DM escapades to 4 officially authored pathfinder "adventure paths".

here's their plot synopses:

Rise of the Runelords - Goblin raids on the coastal town of Sandpoint presage a growing danger in the ruin-choked wilderness of Varisia. An ancient evil stirs to waking life in the distant mountains, drawing crazed murderers, inbred ogres, warlike stone giants, and creatures fueled by the power of sin into an epic conflict destined to create a new generation of heroes!

Kingmaker - The wild and dangerous Stolen Lands lie in the northern reaches of the River Kingdoms, realms ripe for the taking! Yet those who would become rulers of these new lands will soon learn that claiming a kingdom and keeping it are two different beasts. Can the heroes protect their lands from jealous and deadly enemies?

Legacy of Fire - Long ago, two warring armies of genies fought on the slopes of Pale Mountain, and the world shook under the power of their wishcraft. Today, the armies are wakening, and one potent efreeti warlord is ready to pick up where he left off! This outrageous, inventive campaign takes the heroes to all corners of the desert land of Katapesh and beyond, with journeys to strange demi-planes and even the fabled City of Brass!

Jade Regent - When a decades-old secret is exposed, an unassuming local tavern-owner and a close friend of the PCs discovers her birthright is to rule one of the ancient Dragon Empires of Tian Xia—the empire of Minkai. Yet the current ruler of this empire, the mysterious and increasingly cruel Jade Regent, has no intention of giving up his hold over the throne. In order to save Minkai from a would-be tyrant, the PCs must not only escort their friend from Varisia to Tian Xia, braving the frozen horrors of the Crown of the World, but must aid her in gaining the trust and support of a nation on the edge of anarchy.

I would like to throw my votes towards either Kingmaker or Jade Regent. Because, well, I like anything that involves a nation-building element.

Masada, if you could give us a better summary or more information on Kingmaker, that would be much appreciated. I'd be fine with either JR or KM, though.

Alrighty, in Kingmaker, from what little I read, you're on a exploration and colonization assignment given to you by the Kingdom of Brevoy to colonize the lands to the south, the so-called "Stolen Lands", set up a realm, run it however ye wish and deal with all the problems in the area and any the surrounding kingdoms may put on yer.

For Jade Regent, one or all of the PCs are supposed to have some sort of connection to the local bar owner in the town of Sandpoint, in Varisia, named Ameiko Kaijitsu who, at first unknowingly, has a claim to the Empire of Minkai, which is unfortunately, on the other side of the world, so you gotta get'r there one way or another then find a way to put her on the throne or, should she die along the way, one of the PCs because of some kami sealed in a box said you should.

I could send you guys the player guides that come with the adventure paths, dunno if it'd be legal to do so though, but technically I DO own them... Who cares though because alot the pathfinder stuff I have is pirated anyway.

Edit: Here they are then ye derty fackers.

Put up the character creation sheets and give us a rundown on how to make them and any other relevant information?

Well, there's lots of different ways a character sheet could be made, I think android even has an app for it.

I mainly use Myth-Weaver's sheets, which you gotta sign in (for free, 'course) for, found here: link , example

As for basics, this site covers basics of setting up a character like stats and shite: link

Well... nearly everything on D20pfsrd teaches you how to do everything if you look through it enough, though it'd probably be easier to ask me, that is what a DM is mainly for. :u

TREAT US LIKE WE ARE FIVE YEARS OLD AND HAVE NEVER PLAYED DND BEFORE. TELL US WAHT TO DO.

Also, I think that chatzy.com has a dice-rolling function in it. We could make a room and then use that room to roll dice and make a log so that people don't cheat.

Why don't we just handle the whole character creation process on chatzy even, if ye want me ta hold yer hand, babby man, that'll make it easier. :3

Perhaps you can make a step-by-step example of how to make a character here before we do it on chatzy or w/e?
