Bout Dat Logo

You know what it is.

Two roses, it becomes the logo, everything's good. Do it.

My argument: Rose is a nice person, but I don't want to have a logo that represents only the one person. A rose makes little sense without the user, Rose. I think that we should have some kind of a logo, but it shouldn't represent only one person. The logo should represent the users and the forum as a whole.

My counter argument: The rose looks sweet, regardless of the user Rose, plus you're outvoted. Also, the contrast of the red rose against the rest of the site is very eye-catching. Also we should put one on the other side of the logo, to offset the text.

The rose does look sweet, yes. But I would not want to impose the symbol of a fountain on everyone by putting it in the banner.

But you're not imposing it. We voted to have it be the new logo. And roses can mean a lot of things, fountains? Not so much.

The ballots are still open. I voted for Rose November, but will change my vote to Get a different logo. XD

I'd be okay with a different logo, I'm actually seeing the issues with the rose thing. But if we don't go for the rose, I'd like to still honor Rose's event somehow.

Okay, I've changed my vote to Get a different logo. But Rose Appreciation Month will still be a thing regardless.

Which, coincidentally enough is a real thing in the city I'm currently residing in.

Also, I like that there is only one rose. Especially since the "H" in the beginning is red compared to the red rose.

Another idea:

How about each month, a different user picks a new logo? Put everyone's usernames into a random generator? Just a thought.

When I have free time again, I'll be more active around the forum and I'll do something about the logo and such. Good eye on the red rose being red at the end like the red H at the beginning, though.

Should we pull this down off of the Global Announcement?

Sure, I'll do it. But seriously, I'm open to logo suggestions. Just send me a pic or something.
